A woman has been fined £300 after rubbish dumped on a country lane near Great Bowden was traced back to her house in Corby.
She had paid someone to take away the household waste, that ended up flytipped on Welham Lane in August.

The woman, in her 50s, who has not been named, admitted transferring her waste to an unlicensed carrier without making any ‘duty of care’ checks.
An investigation is ongoing by the Council’s enviro-crime team to trace the man responsible for dumping the rubbish.
It is the latest fine to be handed to a homeowner this year.
Councillor Jonathan Bateman, the Council’s Cabinet lead for environment and waste, said: “Whilst this is another successful outcome for our investigative team, it also serves as a reminder that residents and businesses must dispose of their waste in the correct and legal manner.
“It is crucial, if you are using a third party to dispose of your rubbish, that you ensure they are registered by asking to see their valid waste carriers licence.”
