Welland Park Community Hub Plans Receive £128,000 Boost

Plans to transform a former bowls pavilion in Market Harborough into a community hub have received a funding boost.
Harborough District Council has awarded £128,000 towards the project, which will initially fund major repairs to the building in Welland Park.

The former bowls pavilion is set to be transformed into a community hub
The money has come from developer contributions for improvements to community facilities.
The wider project costing just under £800,000, will also see the former bowling green transformed into a flexible space for activities like outdoor theatre, food and drink festivals, and community events.
