Vandals Destroying Trees On Desborough Estate

Vandals are using knives to destroy young trees on the Weavers Mead housing estate in Desborough.
Eight were wrecked on Arden Road during the early hours of Tuesday, with the tree bark cut through, and others damaged last week.
Residents pay for the trees on green areas as part of their Management Fee and have been left angered by the damage.
Steve lives on the estate and spoke to Hfm:
Northamptonshire Police are treating the incidents as criminal damage and are appealing for information about who was responsible.
Residents have also provided Police with CCTV images of suspects.
They are thanking Richard’s Plants for donating 8 new trees to replace the ones wrecked this week.
