Thieves Raid Cycle Hub At Railway Station

Bikes have been stolen after thieves raided the Cycle Hub at Market Harborough Railway Station.

They gained entry after smashing the door of the secure-storage facility outside the front of the station early this morning.

The Cycle Hub has been closed following the incident

A spokesperson for British Transport Police told HFM: “Officers are investigating reports of individuals breaking into the cycle hub in front of Market Harborough railway station at around 1am this morning (7 June), taking two bikes.

“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, quoting reference 81 of 7 June.”

The Cycle Hub, operated by East Midlands Railway, has been temporarily closed as the door has had to be removed.
