The Range Opens New Market Harborough Store

The Range has opened a new superstore in Market Harborough.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening after the homeware retailer moved into the former Homebase premises on Springfield Street.
People queued up outside ahead of the opening this morning, with the first customers through the doors winning prizes.
The ribbon was cut to officially open the store this morning
The Range’s parent company bought a number of Homebase stores and the brand name when the DIY chain went into administration last year and says it has prioritised retaining and transferring staff previously employed by Homebase.
CEO of CDS Superstores, trading as The Range, wilko and Homebase, Alex Simpkin said: “We’re thrilled to have welcomed so many people to our new Market Harborough location.
“It was amazing to see the community come together to celebrate and we’re proud to offer such a fantastic range of products and prizes to thank them for their support.
“We’re excited to continue providing great service and value to the Market Harborough community.”
The new store features ‘Garden Centres by Homebase’, which is a new concept to help preserve the Homebase brand.
