Reform UK Takes Control Of Northants Councils

Reform UK have taken control of both North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council from the Conservatives.
In the north, the party won 39 seats and will now enjoy a large majority on the authority.
The Conservatives won 14 seats, the Green Party secured 8, Labour won 4 seats, the Liberal Democrats secured 1 and Independent Jim Hakewill won the Rothwell and Mawsley ward.
In the West, Reform won 42 seats, the Conservatives secured 17, Labour won 9, the Liberal Democrats won 6 seats and 2 independents were elected.
