Teenager Seriously Injured After Falling Off Motorbike Arrested By Police

A teenager seriously injured after falling off a suspected stolen motorbike in Desborough yesterday was arrested by Police.
The 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital by air ambulance following the incident on Dunkirk Avenue.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police told HFM: “The incident occurred at about 12.45pm yesterday (Monday, March 27), when the rider of a red Honda motorcycle sustained serious injuries after falling off the bike.
“He was taken to hospital in Nottingham where he remains.
“The rider – a 15-year-old boy – was arrested and street bailed on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving with no valid licence and driving with no third-party insurance.”
No other vehicles were involved in the incident and officers are appealing for witnesses and to anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV, or doorbell footage which could assist them.
