Teenager Found With ‘Crocodile Dundee’ Hunting Knife In Harborough Street

A wanted teenager has been charged after being found in Market Harborough carrying what Police described as a large ‘Crocodile Dundee’ style hunting knife.

Officers discovered the weapon hidden down the waistband of the 17-year-old’s trousers, while carrying out a search in Jubilee Gardens yesterday, after challenging him in relation to the current Covid-19 restrictions.

The youth, from Bristol, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was wanted by Police in relation to other offences, and has been charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.

He is due to appear before Magistrates.
