Around 500 members of the scouting community will parade through Market Harborough tomorrow for St George’s Day.
The band-led procession will set off at 1.45pm from Symington Way, passing through the town centre via Church Square and the High Street before continuing along St Mary’s Road and Kettering Road.
It will finish in Little Bowden at around 2.30pm, where activities will take place.

Last year’s parade
St George is the Patron Saint of Scouting, and Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Squirrels from across the district will take part alongside their leaders, with rolling road closures in place to ensure the parade can pass safely.
The annual event takes place on the closest Sunday to St George’s Day, which this year fell on Thursday.
