Scouting Community Parades For St George’s Day

Over 500 members of the Scouting community paraded through Market Harborough yesterday afternoon to mark St George’s Day.
People lined the street to watch as youngsters and leaders from groups across the district marched through the town centre to Little Bowden, led by a band.

Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Squirrels were all part of the event to honour St George, the patron saint of Scouting.
The annual parade was proceeded by activities for the young people on the Green in Little Bowden.
