Pret A Manger To Open In Market Harborough
Written by HFM News on 19th April 2024
Coffee and sandwich chain Pret A Manger is to open a new store in Market Harborough town centre.
It is to be located in the former Stray’s premises on The Square, which has stood empty since the coffee shop closed last September.
The opening this summer will create 15 jobs and Pret has begun recruiting for a variety of roles.

Pret will open on The Square in Market Harborough
The company has more than 400 stores across the UK and Guy Meakin, UK Shops & Franchise Director at Pret A Manger, told HFM: “We’re delighted to be bringing Pret’s freshly made food and organic coffee to Market Harborough and can’t wait to welcome our first customers soon.”
Cllr Simon Galton, deputy leader of Harborough District Council, told HFM the announcement shows confidence in the town centre economy:
The new store will donate surplus food to local charities at the end of each day, through The Pret Foundation and is keen to hear from those who could benefit.
Interested local charities should contact The Pret Foundation via Pret.FoundationUK@pret.com.
