Plan Announced For ‘Battle Of Naseby Country Park’

Plans have been announced to create a new country park near Naseby.
West Northamptonshire Council say ‘The Battle Of Naseby Country Park’ would help commemorate the historic site’s significance in the English Civil War, and provide a valuable addition to the area’s tourist attractions.
The new park would be created near Naseby
The authority has outlined the aspiration in a new masterplan for parks and open spaces and is set to conduct a feasibility study into the idea, to establish the likely level of demand, environmental impact, appropriate type of facilities and potential sources of funding.
If the plan progresses the country park could open by 2031.
