Police Secure Extension To Closure Order

Police have secured an extension to a Closure Order on a flat in Market Harborough, linked to a spate of anti-social behaviour.
It means no-one can enter the property in Edwin Court on Kettering Road for a further three months, after officers were granted the extension by Leicester Magistrates Court.
The action was first taken in September because of the ‘serious nuisance’ people using the flat were causing to other residents, with the front door secured with metal plates.
Problems included drugs misuse, excessive noise into the early hours and aggressive behaviour.
