Volunteers Praised After Major Roadside Litter Clear-up

More than 120 bags of rubbish have been cleared from roadsides across the HFM region by a team of volunteer litter pickers.

The Litter Wombles returned to the A6 bypass near Rothwell for a second clean-up in a matter of weeks, tackling more litter left along the roadside.
