Plans for new Greggs in Market Harborough move forward

Plans for a new Greggs store in Market Harborough are progressing.
The shop is proposed for Welland Business Park in a new building fronting Rockingham Road, bordering the B&M store.
The bakery chain is now seeking planning permission for signage, as well as the installation of air conditioning units and extraction grills.

Previous planning permission for the single-storey building was granted last year and allows a Greggs bakery to operate from the site.
The bakery is expected to create 16 new jobs and operate with opening hours of 6am–7pm Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm Saturday, and 8am–5pm Sunday.
Greggs has not yet confirmed when construction work will start and when the store is likely to open.
The latest plan will be considered by Harborough District Council.
