Firefighters free woman after A5199 crash

Firefighters freed a woman trapped in her car following a three-vehicle collision on the A5199 in Welford this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Northampton Road and Newlands Road just after 3.20pm.
Crews from Kettering and Rothwell assisted the woman before handing her over to medics for treatment.
Northamptonshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
The road was closed while emergency services managed the incident and recovery work took place.
