Plans for a secure dog walking paddock on farmland between Braybrooke and Market Harborough have been approved.
The development will transform around two hectares of agricultural land at Lower Lodge Farm, off Harborough Road, into a dedicated exercise area where dogs can be walked safely off the lead.
The paddock will be surrounded by a six-foot post-and-rail fence and will include a small parking area and dog waste bins.

The facility will operate on an appointment-only basis, with online bookings allowing exclusive use of the paddock by one person, family or group at a time.
Planning permission has been granted by Harborough District Council and documents said the scheme is designed to provide a safe, enclosed space for dogs to exercise while remaining compatible with the surrounding rural area.
The site is expected to open once construction has been completed.
