Plan To Demolish Cottage Hospital Set To Be Considered

The plan to demolish Market Harborough’s Cottage Hospital and build a 70-bedroom care home on the site is set to be considered next month.
It’s not yet known if Harborough Council planning officers will recommend approval for the re-development of the Coventry Road site, which retains the World War One Memorial and Portico.
The hospital shut last March, when services relocated to the St Luke’s Treatment Centre and was sold for £1.35m.
