New Homes Plan Could Get Go-Ahead Next Week

Plans to build a new housing estate in Great Bowden are being recommended for approval.
Councillors will consider the proposal for the Bowden Fencing site, off Leicester Lane, next week.
The site
33 homes would go up on three acres of land if the go-ahead is given.
The Parish Council and some villagers have objected, saying the village has already seen a number of new housing developments over the past few years.
Harborough Council’s Planning Committee will meet ‘virtually’ on Tuesday to consider the plan.
