New Aldi On-Target For Opening

Aldi says its new £5m store in Market Harborough is on-target to open later this year.

Construction of the new premises on Rockingham Road has been progressing at pace and once open will replace the discount retailer’s existing store on Springfield Street and create 15 additional jobs.

No opening date has yet been announced, although the Aldi previously said it was be in the autumn.

An Aldi spokesperson told HFM: “Construction for our new Market Harborough store is progressing well as we move towards opening in the coming months.

“This will create additional jobs for the community and enable local people to shop and save in an improved and larger store.”
