Motorcyclist Injured In Crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Thurnby last night.

The rider was taken to hospital following the collision with a car driver at the junction of the A47 Uppingham Road and Station Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 7pm.

Leicestershire Police say no life-threatening injuries were reported and no-one was arrested.

The road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
