Legacy Launched In Memory Of Chloe

A fundraising and awareness campaign has been launched in memory of a teenager from Market Harborough.

Chloe Longster died suddenly in November 2022 aged 13, after developing pneumonia and sepsis.

An inquest last year ruled a series of failures at Kettering General Hospital contributed to her death.

‘Chloe Longster’s Legacy’ has been set-up by her family to support disadvantaged students at Robert Smyth Academy – where she was a popular pupil – and to raise awareness of sepsis.

The fundraising was given a big boost recently when over 100 staff and students at the school took part in a ‘Colour Run’ and raised £1,700.
