Market Harborough railway station upgrade
Written by HFM on 24th October 2018
There’s a chance to find out about the next phase of the major upgrade to Market Harborough Railway Station today – as Network Rail hosts a public drop-in event there this afternoon.
It comes as work to dig out the new track bed to straighten the line through the station continues – alongside the strengthening of bridges in the town.
The transformation – costing 54 million pounds – will eventually see new platforms and better disabled access, too.
Network Rail representatives will be at the station today between 2 and 7 with special displays and to answer any questions.
