Parents and carers are being invited to a community event in Market Harborough focused on the growing impact of screen use on children’s health and wellbeing.
“Tackling the Screendemic: Helping Families Take Back Control of Screen Time” takes place at 7pm this Thursday at St Joseph’s Catholic Voluntary Academy.

The event will feature guest speaker Dr Sanjiv Nichani, a consultant paediatrician at Leicester Children’s Hospital, who will share expert insights into the effects of screen use and practical advice for families looking to build healthier digital habits.
Organisers say the event comes amid growing concern about the impact excessive screen time can have on sleep, concentration, mental health and social development.
The event is being supported in partnership with Neil O’Brien and organisers are encouraging parents and carers to book early as spaces are limited.
