Man Jailed After Lutterworth’s Wycliffe Rooms Burgled

A burglar has been jailed for eight months for stealing cash, bottles of alcohol and iPads from the Wycliffe Rooms in Lutterworth.
John Parkin broke into the entertainment and function venue on George Street during the early hours of Sunday.
Leicester Magistrates’ Court heard the value of the items stolen was over £900.
The 26-year-old, of no fixed abode, was also ordered to pay £200 compensation after admitting burglary.
- Craig Randall, 37, of The Cutchel, Lutterworth, was also charged with burglary. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded into custody ahead of his next court appearance.
