Man Accused Of Driving Car At Police Officer

A man is to appear in Court accused of driving a car at a Police officer in Husbands Bosworth.

Thomas Brackenbridge is charged with attempted GBH with intent of a Police officer and dangerous driving, following an incident in Bell Lane on February 7th, which left a female officer with minor injuries.

The 38-year-old, of Fairfield Street, Wigston, is also charged with attempted burglary of a shop on the High Street in the village on the same day and burgling a shop in St Mary’s Place, Market Harborough the day before.

Brackenbridge has been released on bail and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court in January 2021.
