Investigation Into ‘Illegal’ Road Through Field
Written by HFM News on 15th November 2018
An investigation is underway after a road was constructed through a field off Lubenham Hill without planning permission.

Where it joins the A4304 it passes over the pavement leaving an uneven surface, making it difficult for people using mobility scooters or pushchairs to negotiate.
Leicestershire County Council says its working with Harborough Council to identify who was responsible before taking enforcement action.
A County Council spokesman said: “We’re aware of works, including the depositing of earth in the highway, which was undertaken on an existing access off the A4304 between Market Harborough and Lubenham.
We’re working closely with Harborough District Council’s enforcement team to identify who is responsible so we can encourage them to go through the appropriate processes, which includes gaining planning permission.”
