Horses Moved From Showground

Around 80 horses that were fly-grazing without permission on the Market Harborough Showground have been moved by their owner.
The Leicestershire Agricultural Society – who run the site – say just five of the animals – remain and they are due to be moved soon.

Concerns had been raised next year’s County Show would have to be cancelled if the horses remained on the site off Leicester Road.
The animals had also been getting out onto Gallowfield Road.
The Society says it will have to re-seed part of the site because of damage caused by the horses and a major clean-up is needed to remove mess.
