Harborough’s biggest housing association is reassuring tenants it’s business as usual, after it merged with another.

Waterloo Housing Group, is now part of the Platform Housing Group, but will retain its name.

Bosses say it will cause no immediate changes, with all current local staff remaining.

Letters will be sent to all customers, reiterating existing tenancy and leases won’t be affected by the new partnership.

A spokesperson for Waterloo Housing told Hfm that at the’ present time’ there will be no impact on staff employed at its Market Harborough office.

With an annual turnover of £231m, they add the new financial strength of the business will have a big impact in the communities where it works.
