Harborough Set For Plenty Of Laughs!

There will be be plenty of laughs as the Leicester Comedy Festival comes to Market Harborough for five days from Thursday.

The majority of performances will form part of the ‘Big Weekend’ on Saturday and Sunday.

The Market Hall will be transformed into a theatre to host some nationally-acclaimed comedians.

‘Lost Voice Guy,’ the winner of Britain’s Got Talent in 2018 and Paul Sinha from TV’s The Chase will be among those performing there, and the venue will also host the popular Dad’s Army Radio Show.

Market Harborough Rugby Club will host ‘The Same Faces’ show on Friday night, starring comedian Tom Young from Market Harborough:

There will also be performances at the Harborough Theatre, Old Grammar School, Lutterworth Golf Club, Beerhouse and Aldwinkles Coffee House.

Meanwhile, the Angel Hotel will host ‘A Very Funny Tasting with Jarred Christmas’ on Sunday, after teaming up with Wine Merchants Duncan Murray.

Following the Big Weekend event last year, Harborough District Council and the BIG Weekend scooped the Liberty Award at the 2019 Leicester Comedy Festival Awards given in honour of events that embodied the spirit of the Comedy Festival.
