Written by HFM News on 7th July 2021
Market Harborough charity VASL is launching a new well-being befriending service to help adults with mental health issues.
The project will see trained volunteers matched with people to offer support with issues like depression and anxiety.
The free service will be available to anyone aged over 18 living in the Harborough District.
VASL is now looking for volunteers to be trained to be part of the scheme.
Emma Brown, VASL’s Wellbeing Befriending Manager, explained more to Dave Irving on this morning’s Hfm Breakfast Show:
If you would like support or wanted to find out more about the volunteering role then visit vasl.org.uk , telephone 01858 456042 or email wellbeing@vasl.org.uk.
