The album cover
Bands and musicians across Harborough have united to record an album in memory of a big supporter of the local music scene.
Andy Nourish, who performed in a number of local bands, died five years ago after a battle with cancer, and proceeds from sales of the compilation, entitled IMBY or In My Back Yard, will go the Pancreatic Cancer UK charity.
A mixture of well-known acts and upcoming talent feature on the 13-track album of original songs, which is launching tomorrow on CD and digital music platforms, priced just £5.
Trevor O’Malley collated it all:
The tracks were mastered by Brickwork Studios, based at Symington Recreation Ground.
It’s hoped sales will raise at least £500 for the charity and an album launch, which has had to postponed because of the current lock-down restrictions, is planned for later this year.
Copies of the CD are available by contacting Trevor on tcom57@ntlworld.com
