Go-Ahead For New Games Area

A new Multi-Use Games area costing £26,000 is to be installed at a park in Kibworth after planning permission was granted.

It will be located in the former skatepark area at the Warwick Road Recreation Ground for youngsters to play football, basketball and other sports.
Kibworth Harcourt Parish Council will use cash provided by developers for community facilities to pay for the facility, after a survey of young people in the village found it was something they wanted.
A site for a new skatepark is still being discussed.
