Gildings To Appear On TV’s Antiques Road Trip

A Market Harborough auction house will appear on TV’s Antiques Road Trip over the next two days.
Part of the popular show was filmed at Gildings for a new series which features well-known experts touring antiques shops in a classic car, as they compete to make a profit on their finds for charity Children in Need.
Today’s show sees them shopping for hidden treasures in the Fens before they head to Lincolnshire ahead of their final auction at Gildings on tomorrow’s episode.
Auction at Gildings
The episodes on Tuesday 21st November and Wednesday 22nd November see Gildings welcoming experts as they compete in the saleroom with collectables from their shopping trip spanning Wales, the Cotswolds and The Midlands.
Gildings director Will Gilding said: “We’re always delighted to welcome Antiques Road Trip to Gildings and these occasions were no exception.
“Having the film crew in always creates an extra buzz in the saleroom and we’re looking forward to people being able to see how the experts fared on the day with the items they brought to auction.”

The Antiques Road Trip episodes will be repeated the week morning after broadcast on BBC Two at 7.15am.
