A new electric vehicle charging hub in Market Harborough is expected to go live next month, following the completion of installation work.
Harborough District Council says commissioning work is due to take place at the Commons Car Park throughout next week, after which the chargers should become operational, subject to final tariff settings being completed.

A council spokesperson said an official opening event was also being planned.
The new hub, which includes a solar canapy, forms part of a wider programme costing more than £2 million to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Leicestershire.
Latest figures show there are more than 6,400 plug-in vehicles registered in the Harborough district.
