Firefighters Tackle Blaze At Travellers’ Site

Two caravans, a horse box and two lorry trailers were badly damaged by fire at a travellers’ site near Great Oxendon last night.
Three fire crews tackled the blaze at Greenfields on Braybrooke Road, after being called at 6.38pm, and were able to stop the fire spreading further.
Nobody was injured and it is believed an electrical fault with a generator started the fire.
Crews from Desborough, Rothwell and Kettering attended the incident, along with a water bowser, to provide additional water.
