Fire At House In Kibworth Beauchamp

Fire crews have been dealing with a blaze in the kitchen of a house in Kibworth Beauchamp.
They were called to Paget Street at 1pm today after an extractor fan hood set alight.
Firefighters from Market Harborough attended the incident
Firefighters in breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using a hose reel jet and no-one was hurt.
Crews from Market Harborough and Central Fire Station in Leicester attended the incident, which destroyed the extractor unit and caused smoke damage to the kitchen.
The cause of the fire was the extractor hood overheating.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say gas and electrics to the property were isolated and the house was ventilated once the fire had been put out.
