The final parts of the £2m upgrade of water pipes across Market Harborough begin this week and will last for three months, causing some disruption for drivers.

Water works in Market Harborough
Temporary traffic lights will be in place as new pipes are laid in phases over the next four weeks along Rockingham Road – from near the railway bridge to the Valley Way junction.
Work will then switch to the area of Rockingham Road past the railway station, before moving onto Great Bowden Road, which will be closed in stages from the Fernie Road junction to The Headlands.
Severn Trent Water had planned to carry out that work last year, but due to an issue with its supplier it was never done – it should be completed by the start of August.
The pipe replacement project, which has been going on for over a year, is aimed at reducing leaks and bursts.
Work will also take place in an area adjacent to the River Welland, off Rockingham Road, which acted as a site compound during the works.
New top soil and grass seed is being put down, as well as the laying of wild flower seeds.
