Fifth Stolen Dog Found Safe

The fifth dog stolen from kennels in South Kilworth in February has been found safe.

‘Bashful’ was recovered last night by Police last night in the Greater Manchester area, after the four other Basset Hounds taken were found there earlier this week.

Westerby Basset Hounds are thanking all who helped in the search for the dogs, especially animal welfare group, Beauty’s Legacy, who worked tirelessly with them to track them down.

A man and two women arrested have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.

Apart from being slightly underweight, the dogs are in good health.

Owner of them, Sophie Cripps, spoke to Hfm:

‘Bashful’ who was found last night
