Father And Son Team Raise Thousands For Charity

A Market Harborough father and son team have raised nearly £4000 between them for the Matt Hampson Foundation.

Avid Leicester Tigers fans Peter and Eddy Crowe were sponsored to walk over the roof of the O2 Arena in London and have also sold calendars, featuring wildlife photographed by Peter.

The money raised will help with the running of the ‘Get Busy Living Centre’ near Melton Mowbray, which provides help and rehabilitation to people seriously injured through sport.

It was launched by ex-Tigers and England under-20s player Matt, who himself suffered a catastrophic injury in training.
