Extension to clampdown on dangerous parking outside schools

A clampdown on dangerous parking outside some of our local schools has been extended.
Ridgeway Primary Academy in Market Harborough, Little Bowden Primary, Fleckney Primary and South Kilworth Primary Schools have all joined the ‘School Keep Clear’ scheme – as well as Houghton-On-The Hill Primary School.
It means parking wardens now have the power to issue fines to anyone parking dangerously and illegally – such as on zig zag lines.
Leicestershire County Council will also use a camera car to patrol at the start and end of the school day.
