Emergency Gas Work Closes Main Road In Market Harborough

Emergency gas repair work means one side of Springfield Street in Market Harborough has been closed to traffic.
The section between the entrance to Sainsbury’s car park and Northampton Road is shut for up to five days, with no right turn out of the car park.
There is still access from Northampton Road into Springfield Street.
The closure is likely to cause delays for drivers, with all traffic diverted along Kettering Road and St Mary’s Road towards the town centre and then onto Northampton Road.
It is the third time this year works by Cadent Gas have taken place in the same area.
Cadent Gas has been approcached for comment.
