HSBC Prepares For Market Harborough Branch Closure

HSBC is preparing for the closure of its bank in Market Harborough at the end of the month.

The firm has applied for planning permission to remove the external ATM and all signage from the branch on the High Street, when it shuts its doors for the final time on May 30th.

HSBC has blamed a fall in the number of customers visiting in-person for the decision to close the branch.

Barclays will also shut its branch in the town later this year, meaning three banks will have closed in 2023, following NatWest shutting its base in January.
