Drivers Escape Injury After Crashes On Rural Roads

Two drivers have escaped injury after crashes on rural roads in the Hfm Region.

The first happened last night on Hermitage Road near Brampton Ash, when a Hyundai overturned into bushes, just before 10.30pm.

The driver, a woman aged 19, was checked by paramedics at the scene, but was not injured.

Fire crews from Desborough and Rothwell also attended the incident, together with Police.

The second crash happened at 8.15am today, when a Skoda skidded off Oakham Road near Tilton on the Hill, crashing into a hedge.

Leicestershire Police say the driver was not injured and have urged drivers to take extra care while driving on icy mornings.
