Driver Escapes Serious Injury After Lorry Overturns

Police say a lorry driver was not seriously injured after their vehicle overturned on the A47 early this morning.

The crash happened on near Skeffington just before 2am and no other vehicles were involved.

The incident led to the closure of the road between the B6047 Billesdon crossroads and Tugby for several hours, to allow for the vehicle to be recovered.
