Streetlighting Upgraded After Safety Concerns

Streetlighting has been upgraded outside Sainsbury’s in Market Harborough.
The supermarket giant has acted after safety concerns were raised by customers that areas of the car park were dark, as a number of the previous ageing lights had stopped working.
New streetlights have been installed in the car park
New LED lighting has been installed across the car park off Springfield Street.
The retailer had previously apologised for the delay in dealing with the issue.
Harborough District Council, which manages the car park, had also been pressing for action.
