Market Harborough’s convoy will take to the streets for the final time tonight.

About 50 trucks and other vehicles will pass through town to salute NHS and key workers, with the event coinciding with what will likely be the last nationwide Clap For Our Carers.

The Convoy has now raised over £1000 for the town’s Jubilee Foodbank, through donations to an on-line fundraising page.

Adam Hutcheson, of Peppers Metal Recycling, helped to set up the event alongside friends Craig Davies and Dave Bown and told Hfm they’ve been delighted with how it has gone:

Tonight’s route (departing approx 7.30pm) is: Harborough Innovation Centre, Leicester Road, High Street, Northampton Road, Bath Street, Western Avenue, Farndon Rd, Welland Park Rd, Springfield Street, Great Bowden Rd, Ridgeway, Alvington Way, Coventry Rd, Lubenham Hill, Lubenham, Marston Trussell.
