CCTV Released After Thieves Target Pensioner

Police have released a picture of two men and a woman they want to speak to after callous distraction thieves preyed on an elderly pensioner in Market Harborough last month.

The lady, aged 83, had over £3,000 taken from her bank accounts after her purse was stolen from the boot of her car in the Waitrose Car Park on Springfield Street.

A man and woman approached her, asking for directions to the nearest hospital before another man took it.

It happened at around 2.15pm on November the 14^th, leaving the victim extremely shaken and questioning her trust in people.

Police say their investigation to find those responsible continues and are urging anyone who recognises the people in the CCTV image to contact them.
