Call For Action On ‘Disgraceful’ Derelict Garage Site

There are calls for action to clean-up a derelict garage site on Market Harborough’s Southern Estate.

The area between Pride Place and Stuart Road has been branded ‘a disgrace’ by Harborough’s MP, after residents expressed concern about it becoming a target for anti-social behaviour, incluidng fly-tipping and graffiti.

The majority of the garages are thought to be unoccupied and Neil O’Brien told HFM he wants Platform Housing Group, which owns the site, to clean it up and consider potential other uses for the land:
