Burglary Suspects Released On Bail

Three men from Market Harborough arrested after a crash in Lutterworth have been released on police bail.

All were taken into custody after the collision on Rugby Road on Wednesday evening, which happened while the driver of a VW Golf was being pursued by police.

The car collided with other vehicles, leaving a 40-year-old man injured.

Leicestershire Police said the car was believed to have been on cloned plates and linked to a burglary in Northamptonshire and had failed to stop for officers.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, burglary and theft, while two other men, aged 40 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

All were questioned by Northamptonshire Police and have been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
